In December 2022, the Trustees received an application from the Turkish Suzuki Association.  They had been able to fund their own violin teacher training until recently, but high inflation now meant that the value of the Lira against the Euro had fallen so much that most teachers were unable to afford to pay the full fees.  The application was for The  Suzuki Teaching Trust to cover part of the costs of a new Violin Teacher Training Course directed by Wilfried van Gorp and due to start on 2 January 2023.  The Trustees agreed to help fund the course so that it could go ahead.
